Of late, we’ve been going to Yana Sizzlers to avoid the mad rush at Yoko and the crap food at Kobe, and this place is quite good! These guys take their time to get the food but they get it right, and they have a good range of sauces. Chicken sizzlers tend to bore me and fish/prawns/seafood sizzlers are better enjoyed in Goa. You can go straight for the Lamb Chop Sizzler which is likely to turn out awesome. No mashed potatoes at Yana, but no complaints from us either. The staff is informed and will help you pick the right sauce in case you’re a complete dumbass. The highlight, though, is the Mixed Vegetable Sizzler. Everything about it (except the pointless pineapple slice) is just right – capsicum, spicy paneer cubes, mushrooms, the best Manchurian balls ever and a perfect vegetarian cutlet. Cheaper than Yoko and Kobe, and the food is good. Yana Sizzlers doesn’t serve alcohol, so pour water on your sizzler if it’s too hot.
Do they still enforce the ‘No panties allowed inside’ rule?
I wouldn’t know… I go commando to sizzler joints!

Quite a few places… we went to the one in Lokhandwala – near Infinity Mall, Mainland China…
