Beer Review: Haywards Draught

At a garden restaurant outside Pushkar.

Had a glass of the draught version of Haywards 5000 at Alfredo’s months ago. Those who want to get an idea of what hops taste like – this seemingly hopless beer might tell you why hops are oh-so-important. Haywards Draught is disgustingly sweet – imagine drinking a lot of beer and throwing up – this drink will remind you of the aftertaste of vomit. By the way, ‘The Aftertaste Of Vomit’ sounds like a great song title. Now that this is out of the way, there are some very good beers that need to be written about. Excuse me.
