What a follow-up to the incredibly intense Everything Is Fire! The Destroyers Of All is a fitting album title for the nihilistic dissonance you’re in store for. Burning Skies sets the mood for the blasting, and with song titles like Dead Oceans and The Hollow Idols… what a fucking atmosphere Ulcerate is creating all over again. Harsh, jarring, fast and slow blows to the head.
No solos on this, no shrieking – just mind-battering music that will make Portal sit up and Portishead lie down. I’m struggling for words here so I’ll make a comparison: Ulcerate isn’t as menacing as Portal, but it’s denser.
If you’re wondering why I’m not sounding very excited, it’s because I was expecting the album to be like this.

I was blasting ‘Everything Is Fire’ as well and wrote ‘The Destroyers Of Everything’ in this review. Hey, if you people spot spelling/grammatical/factual errors, please let me know! I didn’t realize this silly mistake till Daniel Rego pointed it out! Error rectified!
