Uninterested in fake dhabas, we stopped at 360 (the coffee shop of Manas Lifestyle Resort) for breakfast on the way to Nashik, and were delighted. Wood, tiles and glass and a lot of plants: it’s a minimalistic open-air coffee shop that gives you a glimpse of the highway, a look at the cottages of Manas Hotel and a view of the hills far beyond or just lets you ignore everything else and enjoy the surroundings. The food doesn’t come cheap, so stop at 360 only if you’re done with the plastic chairs and indifferent attitude of roadside eateries on the highway. 360 offers nothing special for lunch or dinner, but we totally recommend the upma and the poha. Stop at 360 in Igatpuri on the Mumbai-Agra highway – it’s a classy setting you’re unlikely to forget.

There’s this another place near Igatpuri.. I forgot hotel name. I had stayed there with friends and they had a restaurant down stairs. It was veg thali they offered. And surprisingly, best Veg Food I ever tasted.
Was it near the Vipassana place? Let me know if you recall the name.
