@Sam,Roy,Devdutta: It is the shoe rack of a shelter home for children in Itarsi, which is a tiny village but India’s most important train junction. This shelter home houses children alone, abandoned and at risk on those platforms. They live here and also start living again. It is their shoe rack, outside their dormitory, stacked with their sports shoes 🙂
