Music Review: Flaws (2010)

So you download this album because of the band’s name, and it turns out to be one of the most interesting bunch of songs you’ve heard in long time. Finger-plucked acoustic guitars dominate Flaws – an album with amazing songs that are mostly melancholic, occasionally upbeat, sung in a heartbroken voice, and deserve to be listened to in a silent setting. All the tracks seem to merge to make one big piece of music that you don’t want to end. “And if you want your friends to come then bring them all along”, the vocalist sings. And you listen to Flaws over and over again because you’re left unsatisfied every time, wondering how Bombay Bicycle Club are so bloody good at making you feel incomplete.

RATING: 3.5/5

    Baba, you’ve stumbled upon a good band. Get BBC’s 1st album… it’s electric!
