Facebook, Gujarat Unite To End Alcohol Prohibition

This may be the smartest move ever made by Gujaratis: A group of non-hypocritical, forward-thinking people in Gujarat has teamed up with Facebook to fight the booze ban in Gujarat.

Gujarat is the birthplace of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, a vegetarian teetotaler. Gandhi is known as ‘Father Of The Nation’, and fuck knows why. Since he didn’t know how to enjoy a tipple, the state he was born in has been made to suffer.

The whole nation knows that bootleggers make a killing by selling booze in Gujarat, and that the people of Gujarat love a drink or five as much as the rest of us. Some of these people have decided to rise above the hypocrisy of the situation, and I applaud this move.

Not only will the legal sale of alcohol make things better (Marijuana is banned in India.  Has it stopped any of us from smoking charas-ganja?), but it’s a big step in setting an example – raising a voice against something so illogical is teaching kids not to grow up bullshitting themselves.

And hopefully, Gujarat will get a few beers actually worth drinking.

Way to go, India!

    Illogical argument Mr. Mehta.Your argument
“Marijuana is banned in India. Has it stopped any of us from smoking charas-ganja?”
is incoherent as We’ll not want to stop making dams though it breaks.
Breaking is due to calamity and so are the people who consumes Marijuana.

Banning came into effect owing to detrimental effects of Marijuana.
Yes it has stopped a many who do not want to go to any length for procuring fatal-Marijuana.

Why on the Earth would anyone who is sane and knows tat it can kill, would like to have it?
If one does then that person is insane & has diseased mind.
& we need to take all measures to stop proliferating marijuana(banning manufacturing companies) in order to infect other minds.

Ryan, marijuana isn’t fatal. A charas-ganja overdose will just make you go to sleep.

Dude, how the hell can marijuana kill anyone? According to you, anyone who smokes up a joint has a diseased mind…..What the fuck have you been smoking? Also, no one “manufactures” marijuana….it GROWS! Get your head examined before talking like some deranged individual who has his head up his ass.

The Maderchod police officers and ministers take their bucks from bootleggers. The sons of “policemen” or “lineboys” are sellig liquor and drive in skoda. No body,no policeman can stop them. The drinker has to pay double or triple of the price and some of the brands are not even seen. This is a clear case of black marketing or the “state run black marketing”,even the Permits granted to aged above 40 are not given freely. The corrupt officials charge 50k.Liquor can be easily seen in the govt offices of Revenue,PWD and high ranked engineers, they bastards sit with contractors and drink in govt offices. But the common man of gujarat has to pay rs.200 for a bottle of beer which has rs.80 m.r.p. in Mumbai. So the prohibition is for the common man and rich and affluent always have it.

That’s terrible, man! Rajan, do you guys really have to pay 200 bucks for a beer? FUCK. The price of alcoholic drinks has shot up in Mumbai. So much that most of us won’t be drinking in bars anymore. Dude, I’m feeling so bad listening to all this. I’ll get you a bottle of whisky/vodka/rum next time I come to Gujarat! Pakka!
