Beer Review: San Miguel Pale Pilsen

This is the beer that didn’t work in the Indian market and disappeared and has now found its way back, this time in its true form – as an import. San Miguel comes in a very likable little bottle and is very reasonably priced (compared to other imports, it’s very cheap). Smells grainy and tastes light and crisp (like a pilsner should), and ends dry. The ad had Nina Manuel in it, but now it looks like I’ll have to promote it. San Miguel Pale Pilsen doesn’t have a personality, but I’m up for a few more pints of it.

RATING: 2.5/5

The bottle looks like the ones used to store chemicals and medicine instead of beer!

Hi! May I ask from which store in Delhi you can buy this beer? Contact numbers, if you have? And do they sell in bulk/cases? How much is the rate? Need your reply asap. Thanks so much! 🙂

I live in Bombay. It’s not costly compared to other imports so it’s likely to be even cheaper in Delhi. I don’t know where you can buy it in Delhi… wish I could help.

Thanks for the reply. Where in Mumbai did you buy it? I’ll just try to contact them. Maybe they know some distributors here in Delhi.

Living Liquidz. They have some 30-40 outlets all over Mumbai but they’ve employed people who don’t know the difference between beer and wine.

If you’re on Facebook, try contacting a guy called Akshat Trivedi. He’s in Delhi and he knows where to buy the good stuff from. 🙂
