Kangra Fort

The fort of Kangra was built in such that way it was nearly impossible to penetrate. The statues of Hindu gods were defaced by the Mughal invaders when it was finally taken over, but the Kangra fort remains a monument of strength and endurance. A few steps from the entrance is a pyau which taps water that runs down from a glacier in Himachal Pradesh, chilled and pure.
