Beer Review: Super Bock Stout

sbOne of the six beers that have been sitting patiently in the fridge for over a month, Super Bock Stout pours dark brown with a pleasant head. Coffee is present in the smell and taste and there’s a bit of chocolate as well. It doesn’t rest of the tongue; I’m taking large sips of Super Bock Stout to get more of the taste. Halfway through the drink I can taste caramel and the coffee malts seem sharper. There are no hops to even out the sourness and the drink is too thin (for a stout). I won’t have Super Bock Stout again and I hope the other stout resting in the fridge is more drinkable.

RATING: 2.5/5sb2

Only the Irish and the English know how to do stouts right.
